Ten Tiny Tomte
A Tomte (singular) is a small mythical creature of Scandinavian folklore believed to guard a farmer’s home and children from misfortune, particularly at night when the housefolk are asleep. All the Tomtar (plural) ask in return is for kindness and a small bowl of porridge with a pat of butter every Christmas. Seems like a fair trade. So this holiday season we decided to give you the tools to bring your own little Tomte team to life! This set is the perfect all-included project for a wintry afternoon. Suitable for children 5 and older (with supervision) as well as adults (some of whom may also require supervision). It will take about 30 minutes to make your Tomtar from the kit pieces. One thing – Tomtar hate taking baths, so if they get a bit dirty over time, that’s just how it goes!
DIY Set of Ten Tiny Tomtar Assembly pack includes everything you need!
