Teroforma

The world can probably be divided into two types of people: those that hear “everything happens for a reason” as an excuse to stop trying and those who hear it like a gun going off back at the beginning of a race you thought you had almost finished. After one very ill-advised false start (and one
wonderful interim site built by our friends at Vyllo), we have finally managed to create a website for Teroforma that feels very much like home. And while I give a lot of credit to our own team, the reason we happened to find our way across the finish line this time is very much down to the talents of Charles Silverman, Ryan Jennings and Cynthia Miller of independent creative studio Indigo6.

Based here in Norwalk, CT (just like us), we came to Indigo6 with a very good understanding of what we wanted to communicate to people about Teroforma and a genuine interest in finding a creative partner that would place our interests above their own and collaborate with us to create something special. Both Ryan and Charles have been there and done that in the world of big-firm creative, which made our first meeting back in the summer all the more remarkable for one very important reason: neither Ryan nor Charles actually said anything for the first 15 minutes of our meeting. They had the confidence to listen.

“It’s rare to find a client who values design as much as we do. It’s even rarer to find them in the same town. I guess it was kismet.”
- Ryan Jennings, Managing Partner at Indigo6

For Teroforma, the most attractive aspect of the partnership was the fact that Indigo6 takes a holistic approach to its projects. The result becomes much more cohesive when both the content and the mechanism for communicating the content are all being created in one place by one team. It’s not so much an issue of convenience – as in any intense project there were challenges to overcome – as it is one of continuity and the fact that nothing gets lost in translation.

“So many hours have gone into the design of Teroforma’s products. Our job was to showcase that beauty through photography and graphic design… without getting in the way. The new Teroforma.com is a showcase for not only the products but also the story of the people behind them.”
- Ryan Jennings, Managing Partner at Indigo6

At Teroforma, we’re already deep into our next projects – this time involving the thing we’re actually in business to do. With trips upcoming to meet with designers in Canada, Norway and Italy, we have our hands full.

It’s nice to know that Ryan and Charles have our backs.
