CARE

Teroforma products are made of high-quality materials, using traditional processes directed by master artisans and technicians in carefully selected manufacturing centers around the world. Each piece reflects the thought and care of its maker and is both designed and manufactured to last given the proper care. The sections below indicate the care and cleaning procedures which we recommend. However, none of the instructions below should be understood as a guarantee against breakage or the normal wear and tear that any daily use item may reflect over time. While most of our products are either dishwasher or washing machine safe, it is always best - for the product and for the environment - to wash each one by hand using a mild detergent.

NON- LEAD CRYSTAL

Our non-lead crystal can be washed in a dishwasher at maximum of 150°F, although you’ll get the best results if you do it the old fashioned way, by hand. When washing by hand we recommend that you use a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Never use harsh abrasives or scouring pads. Dry with a soft, line-free cloth.

To be extra safe, place a rubber pad or towel on the bottom of the sink to protect the items.

Store your stemware upright so that the rims do not touch, this helps prevent chipping.

BONE CHINA

Our bone china products can be washed in a dishwasher at a maximum temperature 150°F, however, hand washing is recommended. When washing by hand, avoid the use of scouring pads and abrasive washing detergents.

Most stains can be removed by soaking the item in warm water before washing. For coffee or tea stains, you can also try using toothpaste and a soft toothbrush.

STONEWARE

Our Stoneware products are microwave and dishwasher safe. Tiny marks from knives and forks can in most cases be removed with a small amount of household cleaning powder and a sponge.

LINEN

Our pure linen products are pre-shrunk and washing machine safe.

Gentleness is the keyword when washing linen. For best results we recommend that you wash your linen on gentle cycle at 85-105°F with plenty of water and non-bleach detergent. Do not tumble dry. While damp, iron at medium heat on the reverse side for best results.

For delicate items hemstitched or embroidered products we recommend that you place them in a mesh laundry bag (or pillowcase) before putting them in the washing machine.

Always act on stains while fresh! Once a stain has dried in it will be much harder to remove.

FELT

Teroforma felt products are made of 100% wool fibres and act as a heat insulator protecting your table from hot items.

Our pure wool felt naturally repels dirt and water. Wipe off liquid spills immediately. Stains can be removed with soap, water and soft brush. Our felt products are not machine washable and should never soak in water.

STAINLESS STEEL

Our Stainless steel flatware can be washed in a dishwasher at 150-170°F. Wipe dry with a soft cloth after machine was for best results. Resin handles can be returned to their original luster simply by wiping the handle with a daily-use moisturizer.

SOAPSTONE

Soapstone is a natural product quarried from the ground in blocks like marble or granite. Unlike either of these stones, soapstone is naturally non-porous and stain resistant.

Before using for the first time, rinse under water to remove any residue. After use, simply rinse stones with water stones and store in the freezer, ready for next time.
