For When You Need a Break
Right now there is so much creative graduate work that’s coming out! Freyja Sewell, a grad student at University of Brighton designed this cozy pod in order to offer a quiet place to escape in a public space. Sewell has taken a look at how population is still rapidly expanding & how we can still preserve quite downtime amidst chaos. Constructed by hand from biodegradable local grey felt, Hush Pod provides a quiet, dark, warm place to take a break from the stresses of daily life and other people. After taking a break the chair folds back to provide a socially inviting seat or place to read. Currently Sewell is in talks with Fatboy about putting Hush Pod into production.
