Connecticut Takes Manhattan
Okay, you’ve all had your turkey & maybe have done a bit of shopping. We bring you the Manhattan Transfer to sip this winter season. It’s nice and chill, a cool reminder to take a break before the chaos of the next holiday. It’s the Teroforma twist on the classic Manhattan. Recipe after the jump.
Manhattan Transfer
- ice
- 1 1/2 ounce whisky
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cherry brandy
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 orange twist
- 1 dried sour cherry soaked in brandyPour ingredients into a cocktail shaker let stand 15 seconds. Stir to chill & strain over rocks or into a martini glass. Garnish with orange twist & sour cherry. Sip & Chill.
** We think the Manhattan Transfer is quite handsome with our Avva Glasses & Pure Linen Napkin.

Good lord, is that ever a perfect-looking Manhattan. I am so fed up with seeing them served in martini glasses…
